sellerprofit.in is a free profit calculator for Indian marketplace sellers. It answers one question as accurately as we can manage: if you sell this product at this price, what actually reaches your bank account — on Amazon, on Flipkart, and on Meesho?

This site is built and operated by Jenria Infotech LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India (LLPIN —), at —.
We are a small software firm. This calculator is our own product, not a client project — which matters, because it means nobody outside this office has any say over what numbers it reports.
Corrections, disputed rates and anything that looks wrong: get in touch. We would genuinely rather hear it from you than have a seller price a product against a stale number.
Why we built it
In March 2026, all three major Indian marketplaces restructured their seller fees at once. Commission on most products under ₹1,000 went to zero. It was the largest change to marketplace economics in years.
Almost every calculator and blog post available to sellers still described the old world — "Amazon takes about 15%", "budget 17% for Flipkart". Sellers were pricing real inventory against numbers that had stopped being true. Worse, the advice was wrong in a way that hid the real problem: with commission gone on cheap products, the fees that decide your margin are now shipping, returns and advertising, and none of the flat-percentage calculators showed those at all.
So we built the calculator we wanted to exist: real per-category rates, the actual shape of each marketplace's fee structure, honest treatment of GST, and returns modelled as the loss they are rather than a percentage haircut.
What makes it different
Every rate carries its provenance
Each fee in this calculator is labelled verified or estimate, and the label is shown to you in the interface. Verified means we opened the marketplace's own published page and read it; the source URL and the date we checked are recorded. Estimate means we could not confirm it officially, and we say so rather than presenting a guess as fact.
This costs us something. It would look more authoritative to publish one confident number for Flipkart commission. But Flipkart's real rate card is per-seller and login-gated — there is no single public number — so a confident one would be invented. We show an estimate, label it, and give you a field to enter your own. Our methodology page sets out these rules in full.
We leave things out when we can't do them properly
Myntra is not in the calculator. Its rates run through per-brand partner agreements with no public card, and the third-party sources contradict each other by 25 percentage points. There is no defensible number to ship, so we ship none. The same reasoning is recorded in our code so it doesn't get quietly reversed later.
Nothing you type leaves your browser
The entire calculation runs on your own device. There is no account, no server that receives your figures, and no database of what anyone has calculated. Your costs and margins are your business. See the privacy policy for the full detail, including the analytics and advertising cookies we do use.
How we pay for it
The calculator is free and we intend to keep it that way. It is funded by advertising. We have deliberately not taken the two other obvious routes:
- No affiliate deals with the marketplaces we compare. A tool that earns more when it recommends Amazon cannot honestly tell you Meesho wins.
- No upsell. We don't sell seller services, courses, or a "build your own website" package. A calculator that concludes every comparison by recommending its owner's product is an advertisement wearing a calculator's clothes.
Ads are the least conflicted way we found to fund a tool whose only value is being trusted about numbers.
Getting things wrong
Marketplace fees drift constantly — two Amazon categories changed on 10 June 2026 alone, while this site was being built. We will sometimes be out of date, and we will sometimes simply be wrong.
When that happens we want to know. Every page shows when its rates were last verified, so you can judge for yourself how fresh they are, and our correction policy is written down on the methodology page. If you find a rate that doesn't match your seller panel, please tell us — that email is the single most useful thing a reader can send us.
